beeb.net is a good place to get started having email while you look for an isp or if you need a neutral sounding email address. They do however have a slight problem that technical help runs expensive. Other problems are caused by their terms and conditions. You are not allowed to point a domain name at the webspace.

freenetname.co.uk are the company that is hosting this website. They are a very helpful free internet supplier based in the uk, who have a free helpline, and I can't recommend them enough. A review of them by myself & zyra can be found on zyra's site. Unfortunately, for the moment they seem to have stopped accepting new sign-ups.

Beware of throttling of bandwidth, it makes your site look invisible to search engines.

Of course, once you start getting a reasonable sized website, you will probably want to get a domain name and then Get some hosting.
