Star Trek

Created by Gene Roddenberry as an optimistic view of the future at the height of the cold war when almost everyone was pessimistic about the future.

Various series have been made in the Star Trek universe, and even more have been done in Star Trek books. There are stories set from the early days of the united states right up to the 30th century, covering a large percentage of the galaxy, and lots of different cultures.
