Common sense continues from the place where it left off in universe, and deals with trying to get the ship under a unified crew so that they can finish the original mission of colonisation.
This was first published as part of a two part serial in astounding science fiction under the title "COMMON SENSE", and was eventually published with the prequel "UNIVERSE" in the book Orphans of the sky.
