Paul Butler

Along with his friend Jeff Marcy, Paul Butler is part of a planet hunting team working with the Keck twin telescopes in Hawaii. Together, they managed to confirm the existance in 2001 of a Jupiter sized extra solar planet around 51 Pegasi.
