Gas Giant

So what is a gas giant? Just what it sounds like, a very large planet sized body composed mainly of gas and not big enough to be a brown dwarf.

Our own solar system has four gas giants, Jupiter, Saturn, Uranus and Neptune.

Upsilon Andromedae has at least 3 planets, all gas giants. This is the first multi planet system found other than our own.

47 Ursae Majoris was found to be orbited by 2 gas giants in circular orbits
